BYLAWS

Review bylaws and amend as needed.

Submit approved amendments to national for approval.

Develop and review periodically Standing Rules, which should be voted on each year.
EDUCATION

Inform members of educational opportunities offered by the Local Board, State Association, NAR Affiliates, and by nearby educational institutions.

Monitor the Scholarship fund offered to Buena High School, Tombstone High School and St. David High School.
FINANCE & BUDGET- Lee Brewer, Treasurer

Prepare an annual budget for presentation and approval at the first Governing Board meeting of the year.

Review budget and actual expenditures with the Treasurer as needed.

Plan and conduct fund raising programs as needed including funds to enable the Local President to attend national meetings.

Plan programs that will increase your members productivity and income.

Plan and develop programs for Chapter meetings consistent with the needs of members. The impact of WCR on the members increases when each Local Chapter provides meaningful education for a more professional and successful career in real estate.

Carry out program plans completing arrangements for speakers, panelists, round table leaders, etc.

Evaluate programs' impact and success.
MEMBERSHIP- Sarah Workman

Recruit new members by planning a Chapter membership program or drive that encourages and challenges members to recruit new members.

Plan for recognition of new members at Chapter meetings.

Retain existing membership and re-recruit "dropped" members.

Notify the national WCR office, state and local officers of changes of status or address of membership.

Before distributing membership applications to prospective members complete the dues amounts on the application and the name of the Chapter the individual is joining. These steps will ensure speedier and more accurate processing by the national WCR office.

Also, remember to pre-qualify candidates for National Affiliate membership by making sure your Chapter is under the 30% limit and the individual holds membership in your Local Board of Realtors.
NOMINATING COMMITTEE

Fulfill obligations of Chapter bylaws. Must be elected at Annual Election Meeting to serve the following calendar year.
INVITATIONS & REGISTRATION- Alice Switzer

Send e-mails to members each month to remind them of the upcoming meeting

Collect a list of attendees and notify PDS 2 days prior to meeting.

Provide list of attendees to Treasurer for registration and billing.
HOSPITALITY COMMITTEE
-
Welcome newcomers to Chapter meetings and introduce them to the members.
-
Encourage unity and friendship within the Chapter.
-
Communicate on behalf of the Chapter with members who are ill or bereaved.
PUBLIC RELATIONS
-
Contact radio stations and newspapers and SAAR to announce upcoming meetings & events
-
Take photos and submit to media about meetings and events to report on our chapter
-
Coordinate WCR's sponsorship of MLS meetings and educational events
GUEST CERTIFICATES
-
Print and frame a certificate of thanks to be presented to each speaker at the meeting
DOOR PRIZES/SILENT AUCTION- Peggy Keibach

Circulate and manage a list among members for door prize donations.

Assure that there are at least two prizes available at each meeting.
NEWSLETTER-

Design and distribute a newsletter, at least quarterly using WCR design.
WEBSITE-
BUSINESS PLAN/ANNUAL REPORT

Collect items during the year (agendas, newsletters, meeting reminders etc.) to be submitted by Jan. 31st each year for the Chapter Excellence Awards.
MEMBERSHIP ORIENTATION-

Work with the Vice-President of Membership to arrange at least two membership orientations each year for new or prospective members.
AWARDS & RECOGNITION-
-
Follow guidelines from WCR for "Entrepreneur of the Year' ' Member of the Year' and submit applications are required.
AUDIT COMMITTEE
-
Conduct an audit of the Treasurer's records at least two weeks prior to the final Chapter meeting of the year and report on the completed audit at that meeting.
